Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Engine The OCR Engine comes with every licensed installation of Version 5.0 or newer. This makes it easy to convert imaged exhibit documents into fully searchable content while also having the flexibility to select which exhibits to OCR. Transcript to Exhibit Links Whether an exhibit is formally introduced into the record, or simply referenced during the deposition, Publisher can create a link from that point in the transcript to a scanned version of the document. Attorneys no longer have to search through stacks of documents to locate the exhibit that was referenced during important testimony. It’s right there with a click of their mouse. Transcript to Video Synchronization Publisher includes MediaSync, an application to automatically or manually synchronize testimony from the transcript with the corresponding audio from video files. Attorneys can review the transcript and video side by side from the free viewing software, or from West LiveNote™ or West Case Notebook™ software they already own. This service makes it easy for them to pinpoint relevant testimony or demeanor that might go unnoticed in the transcript text. Publisher can save a bundle in several formats, including: A .PTZ file. Import directly into West LiveNote or West Case Notebook software. Various legacy formats.
